EDA awards the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council $597,890 grant on Sept. 12

The US Economic Development Administration awarded the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council a grant worth $597,890 to help fund a project in Glacier County.

The grant was awarded on Sept. 12. The EDA describes the grant as follows:

"This EDA investment amends an existing grant to support site development and construction of a commercial building — the StarLink Administration Headquarters, in a designated Opportunity Zone in Browning, Montana. The additional funds will help build the new facility that will house the administrative headquarters for the Tribe's broadband project, as well as retail space for new and expanding broadband-related services."
